What is Stripe?

Stripe is a quick and secure way to accept credit card and debit card payments online. Stripe helps Faithify provide a seamless payment experience for you and your customers.

How do I connect to Stripe?

Once you complete your Faithify account, you will be able to connect to our payment processor, Stripe, by using the “Creator Account” tab on your Dashboard. This is required to list a campaign on Faithify

Is Stripe secure?

Stripe meets and exceeds the most stringent industry standards for security. They are also audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and are certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. (This is the highest level of certification available.) You can learn more about the technical details of Stripe’s secure infrastructure here:

How does Stripe process payments?

Create a Stripe account by providing a few details about your organization. From your Faithify dashboard, you’ll connect your new Stripe account with Faithify and start accepting payments. You can connect an existing Stripe account to Faithify if you already have one.

When and how does Stripe transfer money into my account?

Payments are transferred to your bank account after your campaign ends successfully.

Will fraudulent orders or cards be rejected?

Stripe provides several tools to minimize fraud losses and to help businesses determine if a transaction is fraudulent. These include tools that allow Stripe to auto-reject suspicious transactions and notify you of questionable charges so that you can make the most informed decision possible as to whether accept a charge.

Stripe currently supports businesses in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and many European countries. You can see a full list here:

How much does Stripe cost?

United States and Canada 2.9% + 30¢ per successful transaction.
Europe 1.4% + 20/25c pence for European cards;2.9% + 20/25c pence for non-European cards.
Ireland 1.4% + 25 cents for European cards (excl. VAT);2.9% + 25 cents for non-European cards (excl. VAT).
Australia 1.75% + 30¢ for domestic cards;
2.9% + 30¢ for American Express or international cards.
