KC Pandell, member of the UU Congregation in Fullerton, California has felt a strong call to Unitarian Universalist ministry. And in order to answer that call, she will need to go to seminary. She has been accepted at Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago. Despite gratefully receiving tuition aid through Meadville, KC is still unable to meet the financial demands of graduate school. Nonetheless, her call to ministry remains strong!

KC writes: I know the work is important; we need people that are willing to stand up and help guide the way to doing the tough work that needs to be done, but the path to that place takes time, and it takes a community. Being called to ministry isn’t about me: it’s about guiding a larger purpose. I know the work of school has to be done on my own, but it’s difficult, and takes the support of those around you, especially the kind of work ministry is. Meadville is the best place to foster that growth I need to become the kind of leader our congregation already sees on me. It’s a necessary, and even more integral part of the journey towards helping create a better, more equitable and just future.

Won’t you please help insure that Unitarian Universalism continues to develop strong, visionary, and committed leaders by helping KC begin her seminary journey?
