- Unitarian Universalism Connection
I am a Candidate for the Unitarian Universalist Ministry, and I will be traveling to Boston during the week after Thanksgiving to interview with the Ministerial Fellowshipping Committee. This interview is required in order to be welcomed into ministerial fellowship: recognized by the Unitarian Universalist Association as one who has done the work to make herself into a UU minister. This interview is like defending a PhD dissertation or taking the bar exam. It’s a culmination of years of hard work and one of the last steps toward officially becoming a Unitarian Universalist minister, with ordination being the final step.
I need help covering the cost of travel including airfare, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and food for this trip. The Ministerial Credentialing Office maintains funds for limited reimbursement of candidates’ travel expenses; this Faithify is intended to help cover my costs beyond anticipated reimbursement.
Over the past few years I have received incredible support from many people on this journey. I am deeply grateful, and I carry much love with me to this milestone interview. Thank you for being part of my journey, and thank you for your financial support toward helping me get there.
