It’s crazy isn’t it, that any child in the neighborhoods where we live and even in our congregations, goes hungry. No Child Goes Hungry uses 100% of your donation to provide grants as project seed money and serves as a consultant for congregations and individuals. Donations will utilize both volunteers and resources to address the problem of childhood hunger in our communities. Our partners work to ensure that no child in their congregation, their neighborhoods and their local elementary school goes hungry. Let’s go feed some kids!

Normativity, by UU young adult Jaime Jarrett, is a new musical about LGBTQ+ representation and the gay community premiering at NYMF this summer. Our goal is to highlight this issue, also known as "Burying Your Gays," while serving as the representation the LGBTQ+ community so lacks.

    Amount Funded: $5104
Posted by: West Shore UU Church, OH

West Shore Unitarian Universalist church sits on a busy street in Rocky River. Our main "draw" is from people who drive by the church and are curious about it. Our current sign is parallel to the street, which means, no one can read it! It's deteriorating, difficult to read and has to be changed by hand. The church needs a new sign that is perpendicular to the road with messages that reflect the vitality of the people inside and the importance of our faith to the wider world.
